The preliminary rounds report for qualifying to compete at the national JA students' MESE competition

In this competition, the part have taken 24 teams, out of which number the righ to compete at the National Mese competition have won 15 teams. This competition has been organized by MESE coordinators Mr. Gordan Markovic and Mr. Slobodan Kalicanin, both of them belonging to the group of the most active JAS teachers.

At this preliminary round the part have taken all schools of which representatives were present at MESE presentation held on 25 th of January 2005, i.e.: the following:

• The commerce school Paracin with 10m teams (JAS teachers: Simka Djuric-Jelicic & Slavoljub Simic.
• The Commerce school Jagodina l with 8 teams (JAS teachers: Emina Markovic & Mirjana Kolakovic)
• Gymnasium "Svetozar Markovic" Jagodina, with 4 teams (JAS teacher: Milka Drca
• The school for Electrical engineering and Commerce "Nikola Tesla" Jagodina , with 2 teams (JAS teacher: Milutin Gavrilovic)

The total of 24 teams have been selected through a semi-streamlined drawing by being divided into three groups, each group eight teams - as to ensure that teams from the same school are evenly distributed onto separate markets. After drawing is done, and technical preparation completed, the competition has started at 10.30.

Eventually, 5 teams from each group (yellow, green and blue fields in the table) have ensured being placed at the national competition.
