THE ENTREPRENEURIAL EUROPE
Through its cooperation with the JA Hungary, a group of 12 JAS Program students has had an opprtunity to participate at "THE ENTREPRENEURIAL EUROPE" International program taking place in Segedin, Hungary (May 18th - 25th 2005)
The Program involved the 12-member JA students' teams from five European countries: Norway , Serbia , Albania , Great Britain and Hungary . Each of the teams has got the assignment to prepare a presentation of its country, i.e. its society, economy, lifestyles, as well as to describe how they see their own future, and, by applying the knowledge acquired within the company-program, they personally make some product(s) that would realistically represent their culture. In this way, all participants in the program should get better acquainted with their, the same age counterparts from other four countries represented within this program, i.e. to learn something more of economic situation, society, cultural patterns, of their life-and-work expectations, as well as to learn of possible prejudices of other countries' representatives - having in mind common stereotypes - thus to help themselves and to the others to get changed to the better.

On Friday, May the 20th there has been organized Serbian Evening event. According to the estimation of of the JAS officials present there, the organization of that evening was a very good one. This fact is important, because the whole concept and organization of that event was entirely left to the students' preferences and decision making how to present some interesting regionally specific customs of Serbian people, what music to be played, and what of traditional Sebian deserts should be served. They have complete organization of that event designed and in advance prepared by using the Internet communication advices.
They have been also very proud for winning the best logo award.
Finally, for the sake of depicting the atmosphere and impressions brought home back from Segedin by students, here are also some of participants' letters: |
